Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Kilpinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Yuber!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilpinen stuffs the takedown attempt from Yuber. Yuber gets slowly back to his feet.
Kilpinen misses with an uppercut.
Kilpinen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Yuber checks a low kick from Kilpinen.
Kilpinen throws a head kick but Yuber moves out of range.
Kilpinen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yuber to score with a decent uppercut.
Yuber fails with the takedown
and Kilpinen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Yuber thinking.
Kilpinen throws a leg kick which misses Yuber's front leg but catches the back leg as Yuber tries to avoid it.
Yuber tries for a takedown but Kilpinen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jaakko Kilpinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Yuber.
Kilpinen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Yuber is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kilpinen.
Yuber dives in for a single leg takedown but Kilpinen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kilpinen lands with a left to the head.
Yuber drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kilpinen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good leg kick by Kilpinen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kilpinen scores with a spinning back kick!
Kilpinen digs a good hook to Yuber's body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kilpinen looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kilpinen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yuber.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kilpinen.
Yuber looks winded!
Kilpinen throws a good cross that connects.
A lazy left from Kilpinen finds it's target.
Yuber tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kilpinen defends well and Yuber ends up having to push Kilpinen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Yuber jumps guard but Kilpinen stands there with Yuber around his waist. Yuber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kilpinen connects with a knee to the head.


It looks like Ivan Yuber has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kilpinen stalling in the clinch.
Kilpinen missing with knees to the body.
Yuber taking a breather.
Kilpinen is pushing Yuber up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Kilpinen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Yuber has had enough of the clinch but Kilpinen keeps him there for the moment.
Kilpinen misses with a knee strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kilpinen taking a breather.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Kilpinen obliges.
Kilpinen taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Kilpinen has a couple of punches blocked by Yuber.
A frustrated look appears on Yuber's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Kilpinen crunches a lovely knee into Yuber's ribcage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Still in the clinch, Yuber scores with a nice short uppercut.
Yuber tries a knee to the head but Kilpinen blocks it.
Kilpinen has Yuber pressed against the cage, preventing Yuber from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Yuber breaks the clinch.

Kilpinen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Yuber won't allow Kilpinen to sweep him here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kilpinen is working hard here to advance position.

Yuber is posturing up here but Kilpinen has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Yuber tries to roll out but it's too tight and Yuber has to tap! Slick submission there by Kilpinen!
