Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Filiberto Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Voorheez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voorheez has chosen Special Ops as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes swats away the attempt to clinch by Voorheez.

and Rhodes counters with a head kick.
Voorheez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rhodes, pushing him back against the cage.
Rhodes has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Voorheez uses from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Voorheez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
