Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, High Sodium!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Millard!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Millard throws a looping overhand right but Sodium ducks down to avoid it.
Good leg kick by Sodium there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Millard tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sodium.
A solid body kick from Millard.
Millard lands a big head kick that sends Sodium tumbling to the mat! Millard takes a step backwards and waves Sodium back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sodium is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Millard throws a body shot but no joy.
A combination from Millard does no damage.
Sodium shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Millard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sodium pivots, looking for a leg kick but Millard is out of range and Sodium settles back down.
Sodium moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sodium shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Millard moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bruce Millard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sodium scores with a kick to the body.
Sodium is looking to score with low kicks.

Millard throws a leg kick but Sodium checks it.
Millard loads up on a big right hand but Sodium slips the punch.
Sodium throws a leg kick that misses.
Sodium explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Sodium finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sodium changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Millard tries to avoid it but Sodium manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Millard to the ground. Millard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sodium is looking to slow Millard down with leg kicks.
A decent looking cross lands there for Millard.

and Sodium counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sodium.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sodium throws a big elbow that misses.
Millard pulls Sodium in close to his closed guard and prevents Sodium from doing any damage or advancing position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Millard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sodium gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sodium avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Sodium is looking to advance position but Millard won't allow it.

Millard tries to roll over but Sodium keeps him under control.

Sodium postures up in Millard's guard and throws a big left but Millard blocks it.
Sodium has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Sodium works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Sodium is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Millard reverses the position - he's now on top in Sodium's guard.
Sodium escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Millard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close round but Bruce Millard will probably get the nod.

Millard cracks Sodium with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sodium looks to score with a jab to the body but Millard is just out of range.
The fighters circling - Millard throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sodium swings for the body but Millard moves out of range.
Millard walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sodium checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Nice uppercut lands for Millard. That snapped Sodium's head back.
Millard lands a nice shot that snaps Sodium's head back.
Sodium throws a body shot but no joy.
Sodium checks a leg kick nicely.
Millard ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Millard avoids a kick to the body.
That kick from Millard tenderised Sodium's leg. Sodium is trying to keep his angry face on.
Millard lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Oh Sodium is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice takedown defense from Millard. No joy for Sodium on that attempt.
Sodium is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Millard moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Millard!
