Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Orellana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orellana has chosen Black Betty as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Orellana shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Lord gets back to half guard.
Lord preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Lord is trying to maintain the position but Orellana is very close to passing his half guard.

Lord looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Orellana sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Lord is staying active underneath Orellana, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Orellana is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Lord tries to roll over but Orellana keeps him under control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Orellana shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lord as he jumps to the side.
Lord misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Orellana tries for a takedown but Lord circles away easily

and Lord counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lord wants to control from the top but Orellana keeps moving.
Lord lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Orellana keeping moving, preventing Lord from controlling successfully.
Lord pushing down on Orellana's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Orellana looks gassed!
Orellana keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lord wants to lay and pray for a moment but Orellana keeps working.
Lord thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Lord looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Lord is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Orellana defends it well.

Orellana is looking for a sweep. Lord is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Lord is trying to work for a kimura but Orellana is defending well.
Lord missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Orellana avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lord.
Orellana pushes Lord off looking to stand but Lord dives back in and keeps control.

Lord is working for a kimura here but Orellana manages to reverse the position and he's now in Lord's guard.
Lord looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Orellana must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lord will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Lord is striking from the bottom but Orellana uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Lord looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lord is pressing down on Orellana's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Lord working for a triangle but Orellana defends it easily.
Lord can't keep his opponent in guard - Orellana advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tristan Lord dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Orellana drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lord striking off his back but it's not causing Orellana any problems.

Lord had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Orellana is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lord Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Orellana's back instead.
Orellana trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Orellana covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Lord is working for a rear naked choke. Orellana is not defending it well and Lord has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Orellana refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Orellana's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
