Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Tennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Moxson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moxson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Zombie by Cranberries kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for David Tennant has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Tennant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Moxson! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tennant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moxson circles away quickly and effectively. We've been told by Tennant's head coaches at Brown House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Tennant misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Moxson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tennant! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Moxson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tennant keeps working. Tennant sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Tennant wants to improve his position but Moxson is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Moxson in particular looking to stall. Moxson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tennant! Tennant is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Moxson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Moxson wants to finish this one by submission but Tennant is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Moxson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tennant defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Moxson. Moxson prevents Tennant from getting the reversal. Moxson looking to control but Tennant is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tennant has given up his back here. Will Moxson look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Tennant controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad spot.
Tennant is trying to remain composed but Moxson is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Our spies down at at Z-Force Academy inform us that Moxson has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Moxson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Tennant defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. What can Tennant do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Moxson lands punches and elbows. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moxson has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Tennant is in real trouble here. Moxson gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Tennant is tapping out! Moxson wins by rear naked choke!
