Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed misses the shot to the body.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Speed lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Li has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Li and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Speed fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Li has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Li connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Speed is rocked!
Jeez, Daniel Speed's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Speed fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Li.
Speed throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Li looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Li has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Speed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Li pinned against the cage. Li gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Li throws a lazy right hand but Speed sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Speed throws a hook to the side of Li's head but Li sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Li throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Speed lets loose with a powerful body kick. Li will feel that in the morning.

Speed connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
It looks like Speed has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Li gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Speed scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Speed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bruce Li will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Daniel Speed's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
