Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kurt Rosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergio Maurer!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosa slips a straight right by Maurer.
Maurer lands a left and a right that send Rosa crashing to the mat, dazed. Maurer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Kurt Rosa has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maurer looks to land a left hand but Rosa moved out of range nicely.
Maurer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Maurer misses with a straight right.
Rosa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maurer throws a jab but it's blocked by Rosa.
Maurer has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rosa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rosa struggles to land a body shot inside as Maurer controls his hands.
Maurer breaks from the clinch.
Maurer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rosa.
Rosa wants to clinch.
Good standup being displayed there by Maurer as he connects with a hook.
Rosa is rocked!
Maurer shoots in for a takedown but Rosa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Maurer throws a right hand that Rosa ducks under and follows up with a left that Rosa also avoids with ease.
Rosa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Maurer.
Maurer throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Rosa crashing down! Rosa tries to stagger back to his feet but Maurer just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Rosa asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergio Maurer!
In his post fight interview, Sergio Maurer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
