Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Winfred Dillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winfred Dillard has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Winfred Dillard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kendall Trent! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trent pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trent throws a sloppy head kick and Dillard counters with a nice body kick.
Trent misses with a combination
and Dillard counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Trent thinking. Trent looks winded! Dillard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trent sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dillard somewhat. Trent looks to score with a jab to the body but Dillard is just out of range. Dillard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trent's waist but Trent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dillard off to one side. Kendall Trent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trent throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Dillard counters with a left to the body. Trent throws a jab but it's blocked by Dillard. Dillard dodges the punch combination from Trent.
Trent misses with the combination.
Trent takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Trent throws the left hand but Dillard avoids the punch easily. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Trent has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Dillard with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Winfred Dillard. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick by Trent misses and Dillard makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Trent really felt that one! Dillard looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. No luck for Dillard with that takedown attempt. Dillard closes this distance looking for a takedown but Trent circles away. Dillard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trent sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dillard somewhat. A bone on bone clash there as Dillard blocks the leg kick.
Dillard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dillard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Trent was well out of range. Poor timing from Dillard. Trent misses with a combination

That's two minutes gone in the round. Trent throws a leg kick and Dillard counters with a big head kick but Trent shrugs it off. Trent throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dillard counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dillard shoots in for a takedown but Trent shows good takedown defense. A big right from Trent misses. Dillard shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trent but Trent pushes him off and we're back to square one. Trent throws a head kick that misses and Dillard makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Trent really felt that one! Trent looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dillard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Trent defends it nicely. Dillard is looking to wear down Trent with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Trent loads up on a big right hand but Dillard slips the punch. Trent swings widly with a right hand
and Dillard makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Trent really felt that one!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trent lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dillard circles away quickly and effectively. Trent misses with a left hand and Dillard counters with a body kick that stops Trent in his tracks momentarily. Dillard darts in looking for a takedown but Trent gets double underhooks and turns Dillard into the cage. Dillard wants to take the fight to the mat but Trent manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Trent tries to break free but Dillard pushes him back against the cage. Dillard tries to pull guard but Trent holds him up against the cage and eventually Dillard drops back down to his feet.
Trent has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Trent wants to break free but Dillard has control.
Trent is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Trent prevents Dillard from breaking the clinch. Dillard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dillard tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Trent smiles and moves away.
Dillard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Trent cracks a nice hook into Dillard's ribs. Trent misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dillard goes for a double leg but Trent avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Trent continues to drive forward. Trent wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kendall Trent dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Trent tries to avoid it but Dillard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trent to the ground. Trent escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dillard is trying hard to land a takedown here. Trent sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Trent throws a sloppy head kick and Dillard finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Dillard shoots in but no luck this time. Trent rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dillard moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kendall Trent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Trent. Those never looked like landing. Trent has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dillard. Trent throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Trent has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Dillard. Dillard checks a low kick from Trent. Trent tries to bum rush Dillard with a series of wild strikes but Dillard uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dillard dives in and scores a takedown into Trent's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Trent has his feet on Dillard's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Kendall Trent seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Trent lands with a nice body punch. Trent thows a body shot but no joy. Trent throws a leg kick and Dillard finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

and Dillard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Trent throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Trent throws a combination that misses and Dillard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Dillard shoots in but no luck this time. Trent scores with a jab. Dillard acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Trent. Dillard takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kendall Trent is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Trent misses with a leg kick and Dillard moves into the clinch. Trent is trying to break the clinch but Dillard has him pressed against the cage. Dillard tries to pull guard but Trent won't allow it.
Trent has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Trent working hard to break the clinch. Dillard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Trent throws a series of punches but Dillard moves out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A low kick from Trent is predictable there and Dillard counters with a big head kick but Trent shrugs it off. Dillard shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dillard showed some decent athleticism there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trent kicks off Dillard and gets to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kendall Trent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Trent is looking to land body kicks. Trent gets off balance looking for a body kick and Dillard counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dillard throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trent tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dillard is in Trent's guard. Dillard postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dillard prevents Trent from getting back to his feet. Dillard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trent can do anything to dispel that myth. Dillard scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Trent takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dillard landing some decent shots from guard. Trent wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Dillard manages to pass to side control. Dillard working the head and body with strikes. Dillard drops an elbow to the side of Trent's head. Trent is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trent tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Dillard manages to move to mount!
Trent is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Dillard looking for a guillotine from mount but Trent is having none of it. Dillard punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dillard cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Trent has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Trent covering up well and avoiding damage. Trent trying to get back to his feet but Dillard is in full control for now. Trent is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Dillard manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Winfred Dillard!
