Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenton Gentry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Candy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Candy fails with the takedown.
Candy has closed the distance and engaged Gentry in a clinch.
Gentry has hold of one of Candy's legs. Candy is fighting the takedown attempt but Gentry gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gentry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Candy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gentry postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Candy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gentry, into his guard.
Gentry looking for a sweep. Not yet Gentry, not yet.
Candy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Candy's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Candy scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Candy distracts Gentry with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Candy trying to control but Gentry is working from the bottom.
Candy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Candy wants to control from the top but Gentry keeps moving.
Candy wanted to stand there but Gentry had control of the position.
Candy stands up and waves to Gentry to follow him.
Candy dives in for a single leg takedown but Gentry sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Candy has Gentry pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gentry manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Kenton Gentry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Candy.
Gentry tries to score a body lock takedown but Candy shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Gentry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gentry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Candy has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Gentry has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Candy throws a nice looking combination but Gentry bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Candy misses with a knee strike.
Candy decides to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Candy pulls Gentry in close to his closed guard and prevents Gentry from doing any damage or advancing position.

Candy prevents a takedown attempt there.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gentry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Candy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gentry's guard.

Candy working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Oh Gentry is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Candy decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Candy lands a big right hook! Gentry looks hurt but is still standing! Candy lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Gentry falls down and Candy dives in with a huge hammer fist! Gentry's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Candy runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
