Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Corey McCracken!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCracken wants to clinch but Quick slips to the side

and Quick counters by clinching up.
McCracken drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Quick gets the underhooks and prevents it.
McCracken is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
McCracken wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Quick has him pressed against the cage.

McCracken decides to pull guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Quick wants to pass the guard but McCracken is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quick looking to sit in guard and control but McCracken gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Quick is looking to stand back up but McCracken counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Quick.

Quick is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Finch Farm that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Corey McCracken.
Well McCracken has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
