Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Meadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Rehm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Nelson Meadows has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nelson Meadows!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Logan Rehm!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rehm closes the distance and clinches.
Meadows is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rehm gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Rehm jumps guard and drags Meadows to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Meadows really is a fat lump.
Meadows lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Meadows has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rehm wriggles free and stands up.
Rehm goes for a double leg but Meadows avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Meadows continues to drive forward.
Meadows tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rehm just stands there and leans against the cage.
Meadows goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rehm prevents it.

Rehm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A good leg kick by Meadows.
Meadows misses with a wild combination.
Meadows is looking to clinch.
Meadows bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Meadows tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rehm swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Logan Rehm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rehm shoots in for a double leg but Meadows sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rehm throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Meadows buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Meadows throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rehm works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Meadows is working Rehm over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Meadows got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rehm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Meadows has managed to get both his arms back between Rehm's legs - danger averted.

I would just about give that final round to Logan Rehm.
I think Rehm has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
