K comes into the arena with Albatross, Albatross, Albatross blaring out of the sound system. Drunkinski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by It's my time. Vodka Drunkinski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan K !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vodka Drunkinski!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Drunkinski blocks the low kick.
K misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Drunkinski throws out a powerful jab.
K throws a leg kick that misses.
K throws a low kick, looking for Drunkinski's leg but Drunkinski calmly moves out of range.
Drunkinski chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before K can pounce on him.
K ducks under a wild hook from Drunkinski.
We've been informed that Drunkinski has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
K looking to land some kicks to the body here.
K with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
K misses with a few strikes there.
Drunkinski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by K .

A nice right hand lands inside from K .
Drunkinski keeps control of K as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Drunkinski tries a body shot but K blocks it.
Drunkinski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Drunkinski prevents a body shot from K .
K swings wildly with an uppercut but Drunkinski uses good head movement to avoid it.
K 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Drunkinski on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

K manages to break the clinch.
K jabbing away but nothing is landing.
K wants to slow Drunkinski down by chopping away at his legs.
A big right from K misses.
K misses with a wild body shot.
Drunkinski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but K moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Drunkinski tries to land a front kick but K steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
K lands a head kick. Drunkinski smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Drunkinski checks the leg kick.
K has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nelson Fight Camp in the buildup to the fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Drunkinski lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
K lands a head kick. Drunkinski smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
K takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
K swats away the attempt to clinch by Drunkinski.

Drunkinski takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That kick from K tenderised Drunkinski's leg. Drunkinski is trying to keep his angry face on.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
K works Drunkinski's body with a nice hook.
K is looking to slow Drunkinski down with leg kicks.
A looping hook to the body misses from Drunkinski. K does a little dance to reset his feet.
K pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dan K will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dan K is winning the standup battle so far.
Drunkinski moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
K dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Drunkinski. That did some damage!
Drunkinski's jab looks to have found its range, popping K under the eye.
Drunkinski lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
K throws a leg kick which misses Drunkinski's front leg but catches the back leg as Drunkinski tries to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drunkinski throws a jab but it's blocked by K .
Drunkinski takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Drunkinski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but K was well out of range. Poor timing from Drunkinski.

K lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Drunkinski closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
K misses with a leg kick
and Drunkinski counters with a nice uppercut.
Drunkinski looks to throw the jab but K is out of range.
K uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Drunkinski.
K throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
K 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Drunkinski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! K scrambles back to his feet.


K is rocked!
K drops his guard momentarily, allowing Drunkinski to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes K ! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Drunkinski takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Vodka Drunkinski!
Our winner, Vodka Drunkinski, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
