Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Killa M (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and danny baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). baker has chosen You Are A Pirate as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Killa M! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, danny baker! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! M misses with a takedown attempt - baker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. baker fails to land the takedown. M fakes high and swings low for a body shot but baker manages to avoid it. baker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming M to the mat! M manages to get full guard. M can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as baker controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. M wants to stand up but baker is controlling him. baker content to stall in guard here. M is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. baker sitting in guard, not really doing much. baker wants to pass the guard but M is keeping the position. baker is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. M looking to control.
baker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of M's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. M keeping full guard, as baker tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. baker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. M wants to stand up but baker is controlling him. baker cracks M with a solid left hand. baker sitting in guard, not really doing much. baker passes M's left leg - he's now in half guard. M is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. baker is looking for a kimura but M is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for baker to get the leverage. M tries to get to full guard but baker has control of the leg. baker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Despite being in the dominant position, danny baker just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. M tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but baker paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. baker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming M to the mat! M manages to get full guard. baker forces his way into half guard. baker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks M with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. baker is taking a breather. M says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. baker uses his free foot to push down on M's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for M. M is trying to stand up. baker controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

M fails in his attempt to clinch. baker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. M tries to avoid it but baker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag M to the ground. M escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. baker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. baker wants to take a breather but M is having none of it. M is trying to control but can't.
M on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. M tries to kick baker off but baker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. baker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. M is looking for a sweep. baker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with baker in particular looking to stall. Let's hope that baker has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. baker prevents M from standing back up.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for baker. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. baker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Despite being in the dominant position, danny baker just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Horrible takedown by baker or perhaps it was just good defense by M which made him look bad. baker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Killa M has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of danny baker. baker scores a takedown into full mount! baker controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. M is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. M tries to lock up and control but baker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. baker controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
danny baker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

M is looking to control baker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can M avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nice strikes from baker there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. baker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. baker looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. baker's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. M pushes baker off looking to stand but baker dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. baker is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! M working to try and regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. M is trying to escape the mount.
