Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Santo Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Floyd Star will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Santo Mayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Floyd Star!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Star walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Star looks to land a combination. Mayer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Santo Mayer has been cut.
Mayer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Star to score with a decent uppercut.
Mayer is rocked!
Mayer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Oh Mayer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Star manages to break the clinch.
Star closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mayer is concentrating on defense, preventing Star from advancing position.
Star scores with a big shot! Mayer's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Mayer! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
