Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bash looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jones! Jones is trying desperately to improve position. Jones gets back to half guard. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Jones wants to sweep but Bash has passed to side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bash is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jones has escaped the position, nice work there. Bash is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jones is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bash off and has taken his back!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jones working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Jones is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bash is defending well though. Jones let's go of the attempt for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones looking for the choke but no joy. Jones looks gassed! Jones is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bash knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bash for a finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to control momentarily.
Jones working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Jones is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bash defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones doesn't have the hooks in and Bash manages to turn into his guard.
Bash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. Bash wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones gets caught flat footed, as Bash shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jones looking to control but Bash passes into half guard.
Jones actively working from the bottom here. Jones actively working from the bottom here. Jones is breathing heavily. Bash is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bash to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to roll over but Bash keeps him under control. Jones looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bash is trying to work for a kimura but Jones is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones stuffs the takedown. Jones misses with a takedown attempt and Bash counters with a shoot takedown. Jones fights it but they end up in guard. Jones throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bash escapes and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control! Bash tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Jones is pressing down on Bash's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jones looking to secure an arm triangle but Bash defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bash has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bash! Marcus Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bash manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Bash dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Bash throws a right and a left that both miss. Bash with a poor takedown and Jones counters with a takedown into side control. Jones swings around for an armbar but Bash sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jones's guard. Jones working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bash has passed into half guard!
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bash is working for a kimura but Jones is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is pressing down on Bash's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jones works his way into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bash has worked his arm free - good work by Bash!
Jones is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bash looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jones gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bash is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jones lets go of the hold and Bash can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Marcus Jones!
