Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walter Dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viavao Kaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaho comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Joey B - Tonga (Feat. Sarkodie) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Viavao Kaho!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunham lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Kaho manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dunham on his heels. He'll look to pass Dunham's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Dunham is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kaho is aware though and is defending well.

Dunham escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kaho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kaho got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dunham has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kaho has managed to get both his arms back between Dunham's legs - danger averted.

Kaho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kaho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kaho wants to pass the guard but Dunham is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kaho displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dunham throws out the jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dunham. Kaho does a little dance to reset his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dunham enables Kaho to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dunham manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kaho pushes a forearm under Dunham's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dunham is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Viavao Kaho seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
