Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between shinshi uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maro Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). uno kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Aqui a tristeza pula de alegria. Maro Santos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
uno takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Santos lands a nice leg kick that just misses uno's sensitive parts.
Santos's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Santos duly obliges.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Santos pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Santos looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for uno!
Santos prevents uno from getting the reversal.
Santos get's back to his feet.
Santos moves into the clinch successfully.
Santos stalls.
Santos lands a damaging elbow.
Santos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
uno takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
uno is breathing heavily.
Santos rushes uno and presses him up against the cage.
Santos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Santos clinches up against the cage.
Santos gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Santos lands a nice elbow.
Santos lands a body shot in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Santos breaks from the clinch.
Santos connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Santos lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nice body kick from Santos.
Santos connects with a vicious head kick that knocks uno to the floor! Santos dives in looking for the finish!
uno is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Santos stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Oh uno is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Santos lands a big head kick that sends uno to the canvas! Santos follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
