Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borden Chantry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaspars Timma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaspars Timma told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Borden Chantry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaspars Timma!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chantry throws a shot from downtown. Timma moves away and avoids it.
Chantry staying out of range there.
Kaspars Timma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Timma scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Borden Chantry has been cut.
Timma walks into a left hand.
It looks like Kaspars Timma has been cut.
Chantry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chantry has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Wolfschanze in the buildup to the fight.
Chantry dodges the punch combination from Timma.
Timma moves out of range of the body kick.
Timma tries to move into range but Chantry moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've been informed that Timma has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Timma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chantry moves away.
Timma thuds his right hand into Chantry's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Timma dips to his left and cracks Chantry with an uppercut!
Timma takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Timma feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Chantrys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Chantry misses with the combination.
Timma throws a body punch but Chantry moves out of range.
Chantry lands with a right hand.
Timma misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chantry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Timma swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chantry cracks Timma with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Timma looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Chantry finish him?
Timma is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Timma throws a chopping leg kick but Chantry manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Timma is still on wobbly legs! Can Chantry finish him?
Timma swings widly with a right hand
and Chantry counters with a right hand from hell and Timma is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Borden Chantry!
