Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denard Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique-Point of no return. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
30 - 27 - 1, fighting out of New York, Cory Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
21 - 16 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Denard Black!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black misses with a left hand
and Steel counters with a left to the body.
Steel misses with a jab, cross combination.
Steel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Black.
Cory Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Steel throws a right and a left that both miss.
Black ducks under a wild hook from Steel.
Black cracks Steel with an open hand slap.
Steel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Black.
Steel takes a swing at Black's ribcage but misses.
Black throws a hook but Steel blocks it.
Black pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Steel back to the cage. Black follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Steel throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Black counters with a three punch combo that has Steel backing up. Steel nods at Black to acknowledge the strikes.
Steel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Black pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Steel lands a lovely overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Steel connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Black's hands.
It looks like Denard Black has been cut.
Black lunges at Steel with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Steel's hand.
Steel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Steel feints a jab promting Black to slip. Steel then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Black slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Steel has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Black.
Steel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Black lands a big head kick that sends Steel tumbling to the mat! Black takes a step backwards and waves Steel back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Cory Steel has been cut.
Black throws a half hearted mid kick.
Steel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Black lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steel circles away quickly and effectively.
Black throws a body punch but Steel moves out of range.
Black lands with a slapping head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Black lands a jab-cross combination.
Black connects with a jab.
Black scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Steel doesn't seem bothered though.
Steel throws a right hand that Black ducks under and follows up with a left that Black also avoids with ease.
Steel misses with an uppercut
and Black counters with a nice uppercut.
Black jabs Steel to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Black drops Steel with a beautiful combination! Steel stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Black is looking for the KO!
Steel tries to bum rush Black with a series of wild strikes but Black uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The crowd cheers as Black lands an impressive looking overhand right. Steel doesn't seem phased though.
Steel is rocked!
Black lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Steel is looking to close the distance but Black sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Steel crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Steel is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Denard Black!
