The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crone tries to avoid it but Jacobs manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crone to the ground. Crone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A right-left combo lands from Crone.
Crone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jacobs circles away quickly and effectively.
Crone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jacobs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jacobs dives in for a single leg takedown but Crone sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Crone gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jacobs.
Paul Crone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Jacobs.

Jacobs is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Crone moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
