Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bj Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bj Mayhem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arnold Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhem closes the distance and clinches up with Peterson, looking for a takedown. Mayhem pushes Peterson against the cage but Peterson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Peterson throws a series of punches but Mayhem avoids them all with ease.

Peterson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mayhem looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Peterson wants to control but Mayhem is keeping him busy.
Peterson lands a decent elbow from side control.
Mayhem is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Peterson wants to control but Mayhem is keeping him busy.
Peterson tries to move to mount but Mayhem blocks the move with his legs.
Peterson is looking to take a break and control but Mayhem is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mayhem sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Peterson seems to be working for a kimura but Mayhem defends the submission attempt.

Peterson is thwarting Mayhem's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mayhem works his way to full guard. Good work.

Peterson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mayhem might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Bj Mayhem just wasn't active enough.
Peterson leaves Mayhem with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Peterson looks winded!

Mayhem has taken the fight to the clinch.
Peterson has Mayhem pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mayhem manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Mayhem works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mayhem wants to control from the top but Peterson keeps moving.
Mayhem would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Peterson working for submissions but it's allowed Mayhem to get to half guard.
Peterson is looking to control Mayhem's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Peterson avoid being mounted?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mayhem working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mayhem is trying to control. Peterson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bj Mayhem will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Mayhem throws a right and a left that both miss.

Peterson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mayhem's guard.
Peterson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mayhem swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mayhem pulls Peterson in close to his closed guard and prevents Peterson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Peterson won't allow Mayhem to sweep him here.
Peterson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Peterson is posturing up here but Mayhem has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Peterson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Peterson has to tap! Slick submission there by Mayhem!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bj Mayhem!
