Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Blood of Heroes!. Loblaw has chosen Bob Loblaw Song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Craig Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Loblaw!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson stuns Loblaw with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Johnson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Johnson misses with a hook.
Johnson tries to bum rush Loblaw with a series of wild strikes but Loblaw uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Loblaw moves forwards but Johnson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Johnson misses with an uppercut.
Johnson just misses with a punch to the body.
Johnson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Johnson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Loblaw ducks under a wild hook from Johnson.
Loblaw walks into a straight right hand from Johnson.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson works Loblaw's body with a nice hook.

Loblaw shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Johnson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Johnson looking for a sweep but Loblaw has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Johnson manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Loblaw throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Loblaw takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Johnson is trying to get back to full guard.
Johnson is trying to stand.
Johnson is positioning himself well to prevent Loblaw advancing to mount.
Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Loblaw sits in half guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bob Loblaw wasn't active enough on the ground.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target.

A jab-cross combination lands for Johnson and sends Loblaw crashing to the mat! Johnson follows him down to the mat - Loblaw regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!


Loblaw is rocked!


It looks like Bob Loblaw has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Johnson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Loblaw to stand up.
Loblaw is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
and Johnson counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Loblaw! He's just covering up as Johnson starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Craig Johnson!
A very excited looking Craig Johnson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
