The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higuan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Altair Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Creed scores with a nice right hand.
Creed throws a quick inside leg kick.
Creed does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Creed connects with a body shot.
Creed misses with a jab, cross combination.
Creed dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Creed's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Creed duly obliges.
Creed throws out a powerful jab.
Creed misses with a leg kick.
Creed lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Creed.

Higuan is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Creed throws a chopping leg kick but Higuan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Creed lands a slapping body shot.
Creed lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Higuan is still on wobbly legs! Can Creed finish him?
Nice straight punches there by Creed. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Creed.
Creed's jab looks to have found its range, popping Higuan under the eye.
Creed lands a hook that stumbles Higuan back into the cage. Creed follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Higuan to the canvas! Creed pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Higuan has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
