The fight moves into the clinch position.
NP turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mclean is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked NP off and has taken his back!
NP is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Mclean sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. NP has no choice but to tap and Mclean jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mac Mclean!
Augustus NP was interviewed post fight and said 'He got lucky...The mat was slippery so that's why I wasn't given a fair fight.'.
