Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takehiko Takaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maksim Peggy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takaki comes to the cage accompanied by Mahavishnu Orchestra - Meeting Of The Spirits. Peggy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Killing in the name of... kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Takehiko Takaki will probably get the nod.

Takaki drops back, looking for a kneebar! Peggy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Peggy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Peggy!

Peggy felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

We've been hearing good reports from Takaki's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Takaki throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Peggy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Takaki is in Peggy's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Takaki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Takaki fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Peggy on the side of the head.
Takaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Takaki throws a head kick that misses.
Takaki drives through with a takedown into guard.
Peggy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
