Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Boucher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Tomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomi has chosen 50 cent many men as his entrance music. Jay Tomi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Boucher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Tomi! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tomi gets the takedown into side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Tomi controls the position from side control. Tomi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. What's Boucher going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boucher is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boucher is trying to escape the position but Tomi is controlling the position. Boucher tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tomi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jay Tomi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Boucher fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Boucher looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Boucher gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tomi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tomi shoots in and gets a takedown into Boucher's guard. Tomi sitting in guard here, content to control. Boucher wants to improve his position but instead Tomi has moved into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tomi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Boucher is trying to stand up here but Tomi is controlling him well. Boucher wants to get back to full guard. Tomi wants to stand up but Boucher has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Jay Tomi has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Boucher's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tomi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Boucher scrambles back to his feet. Boucher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tomi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Boucher asserts his dominance and retains side control. Tomi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Boucher wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tomi, who protects the arm well. Boucher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tomi keeps working. Boucher will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tomi is trying to control Boucher's posture but Boucher avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Tomi dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Boucher with a lazy takedown attempt and Tomi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Boucher shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Tomi counter with a right hand. Some wild striking there from Tomi.
Boucher fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Boucher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boucher throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tomi's waist but Tomi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boucher off to one side. Tomi darts in and clinches Boucher up against the cage. Boucher goes for a takedown attempt but Tomi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tomi scores with a takedown into Boucher's guard. Boucher is pulling down on Tomi's head to control his posture. Tomi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boucher misses with a takedown attempt and Tomi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tomi stuffs the takedown attempt from Boucher. Boucher gets slowly back to his feet. Boucher tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tomi defends well and Boucher ends up having to push Tomi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Boucher keeps control of Tomi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Boucher wants to take the fight to the mat but Tomi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Tomi avoiding damage as Boucher throws knees to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Tomi's face as he tries to break the clinch. Boucher has Tomi pressed against the cage, preventing Tomi from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Tomi gets underhooks to prevent Boucher's takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tomi stops a takedown attempt from Boucher.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boucher looking for a takedown. Tomi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Boucher wants a takedown but no success here.
Tomi is trying to trip Boucher. He has hold of a leg but Boucher is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tomi persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Tomi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Boucher misses with a takedown attempt enabling Tomi to counter with a crisp jab. Tomi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boucher manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Boucher shoots in but no luck this time. Kevin Boucher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boucher has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Boucher there as he acknowledges the shot. Tomi has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Boucher is landing a low percentage of strikes. A bone on bone clash there as Boucher blocks the leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! Tomi gets a double leg takedown into Boucher's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tomi wants to control from the top but Boucher keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Tomi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Tomi throws a right and a left that both miss. Boucher misses with a takedown attempt and Tomi counters with a two punch combo. Boucher tries to sprawl but Tomi drives through with a takedown into half guard. Tomi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boucher is just riding it out for now. Tomi eventually gives up the hold. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tomi in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boucher is looking for a sweep. Tomi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tomi is trying to control the action in half guard but Boucher is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Tomi is taking a breather. Boucher says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jay Tomi wasn't active enough on the ground. Tomi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boucher has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tomi looking to score a takedown here. Boucher is defending well but Tomi drives through and ends up in Boucher's guard. Tomi won't allow Boucher to get back to his feet. Tomi content to stall in guard here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jay Tomi was stalling too much, according to the referee. Tomi misses with the combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boucher shoots and misses and Tomi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tomi gets a takedown into half guard. Tomi decides to stand and escape the position. Tomi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boucher pinned against the cage. Boucher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Boucher shoots in looking for a takedown but Tomi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boucher's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Boucher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tomi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boucher but Boucher pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tomi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Boucher's guard. Kevin Boucher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jay Tomi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that's the end of the fight! Jay Tomi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tomi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
