PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sorn Asap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asap has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. William Weidman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weidman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Weidman lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Weidman.
No luck for Asap with that takedown attempt.
Asap shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Weidman as he jumps to the side.
Weidman scores with a jab to the body.
Asap is breathing heavily.
Weidman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Asap doesn't seem bothered though.
Asap has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Sorn Asap has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Weidman connects with a right hand. Asap shakes it off.
Asap gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Weidman.
Asap ducks right into an uppercut from Weidman.
Weidman lands a nice shot to the body.
Asap on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Oooooh!!! Weidman has knocked Asap down with a huge combo! Weidman steps away and waves a wobbly Asap back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Asap is rocked!
Weidman drops Asap with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Asap! Weidman dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
