The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ushami lands a really nice looking cross but Landry seems unphased.
Landry takes one to the chin there.
Sloppy strikes from Ushami. Those never looked like landing.
Landry could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ushami looks to land a combination but Landry avoids it well.
Ushami misses with a few strikes there.
Landry showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ushami.
Danga de danga de dang - Ushami scores with a four punch combination!
Dennis Landry's cut is getting worse.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ushami falls off balance throwing a combination
and Landry holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Ushami throws an elbow that misses.
Ushami is looking to control Landry's arms but Landry gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ushami has his back to the cage.
Landry is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ushami dips a shoulder and cracks Landry with a mighty uppercut! Landry falls back against the cage and Ushami unloads with a barrage of strikes! Landry is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ushami screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keb Ushami!
