Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Oath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donzel Fortunado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oath comes to the cage accompanied by Do you fuck on first dates. Fortunado has chosen Bob Dylan-Knockin' on Heaven's Door as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ken Oath has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Oath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Donzel Fortunado!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oath lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fortunado moves out of range of the body kick.
Fortunado missing with a left hand there. Oath was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fortunado throws a head kick that misses.
Fortunado sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Oath.
Fortunado gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Oath.
Oath pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fortunado is out of range and Oath settles back down.
Fortunado loads up on a big right hand but Oath slips the punch.
Oath has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Stu's Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Oath lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oath pushes Fortunado away with a front kick.

Fortunado shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Fortunado shoots in and gets a takedown into Oath's guard.

Fortunado displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oath throws out the jab.
Oath looks for the body kick but Fortunado saw that one coming.
A left lands for Fortunado.


It looks like Ken Oath has been cut.
Oath ducks right into an uppercut from Fortunado.
Donzel Fortunado is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A jab from Oath finds it's way through Fortunado's defenses.

Oath shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fortunado as he jumps to the side.
Oath throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fortunado.
Fortunado tries to clinch up.
Fortunado connects with a right hand. Oath shakes it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fortunado tries to close the distance and clinch but Oath swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fortunado sends Oath crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fortunado is motioning to the referee to let Oath up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Oath is rocked!
Oath shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fortunado sprawls well. Fortunado wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oath gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Oath is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice leg kick lands there from Oath.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fortunado measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Oath! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Donzel Fortunado!
Donzel Fortunado decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
