Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Bitag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellison has chosen im bad as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Bitag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Antonio Ellison! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bitag fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ellison to the ground. Bitag is now in Ellison's guard. Bitag scoring with some ground and pound. Ellison working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bitag. Ellison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bitag is one step ahead there. Bitag postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ellison looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bitag drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ellison manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bitag has Ellison in his guard. Bitag trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bitag lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Bitag with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bitag trying to control but Ellison is working from the bottom. Ellison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellison is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bitag is aware though and is defending well. Bitag is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bitag wants to control from the top but Ellison keeps moving. Bitag drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ellison dives on top into guard. Ellison would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bitag being controlled here, momentarily. Bitag looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ellison passes into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ellison wants to stand but Bitag has his arm trapped. Ellison sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bitag is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Ellison working away. Ellison swings around for an armbar but Bitag sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ellison's guard. Ellison wants to sweep here but Bitag controlling him for the moment. Ellison keeping moving, preventing Bitag from controlling successfully. Ellison trying to keep a closed guard but Bitag is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bitag postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ellison is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bitag, into his guard. Ellison trying to control but Bitag is working from the bottom. Bitag throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bitag seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitag isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ellison stacks Bitag on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ellison! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ben Bitag will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ellison misses with a takedown and Bitag moves into the clinch. Bitag is trying to trip Ellison. He has hold of a leg but Ellison is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bitag persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Bitag wants to control from the top but Ellison keeps moving. Bitag trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bitag has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ellison working a defensive guard here.
Bitag is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ellison can do to turn this around? Bitag wants to control from the top but Ellison keeps moving. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Ellison has gone for a leg lock! Bitag slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ellison's guard. Bitag loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bitag is looking to work some ground and pound but Ellison has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ellison wants to sweep but no luck. Bitag sitting in guard here, content to control. Bitag really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bitag wants to control from the top but Ellison keeps moving. Bitag with a flurry of punches that miss. Bitag scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bitag got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ellison has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bitag has managed to get both his arms back between Ellison's legs - danger averted. Ellison wants to sweep but no luck. Bitag throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bitag gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bitag gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ellison tries to get to full guard but Bitag has control of the leg. Bitag is trying to control the action in half guard but Ellison is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bitag is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ellison has managed to free his arm - good work. Bitag is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ellison sees it coming and defends easily.

Bitag is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ellison actively working from the bottom here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bitag keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ellison is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Bitag is trying to maintain the position but Ellison is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bitag is looking for a sweep. Ellison is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nice strikes from Ellison there. Ellison trying to control from half guard but Bitag is working away. Ellison looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ellison darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bitag makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bitag. Ellison postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ellison wants to stand but Bitag is controlling his posture from full guard. Bitag avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ben Bitag is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! And that's the end of the fight! Antonio Ellison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bitag has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
