Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Fors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Mstislav Byhenikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexander Fors! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ruslan Mstislav Byhenikov! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Byhenikov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Byhenikov. Byhenikov is looking to land body kicks. Fors misses with a low kick as Byhenikov jumps back. Byhenikov has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fors is landing a low percentage of strikes. Fors throws a nice outside leg kick. Fors jabbing away but nothing is landing. Fors is looking to score with low kicks. Byhenikov lands with a shot to the body. Byhenikov fails to land the takedown. Byhenikov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fors counters by clinching up. Byhenikov digs a right hand into Fors's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Fors's gas tank. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Byhenikov takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Byhenikov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Fors backwards. Fors lands with a left to the head. Fors fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Fors misses with a short punch on the inside. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fors lands a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fors lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Fors blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Byhenikov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Fors backwards. Byhenikov is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fors is keeping busy. Fors swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Byhenikov blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Fors working some nice short punches in the clinch. Fors lands a right hand. Byhenikov tries for a takedown but Fors manages to get underhooks.
A head punch on the inside from Fors fails to land. Fors tries a body shot but Byhenikov blocks it.

Fors is pressed up against the cage. Byhenikov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fors down to the mat. Fors avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Alexander Fors has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ruslan Mstislav Byhenikov. Byhenikov slips under a jab from Fors. Byhenikov shoots in but no luck this time. Fors takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Byhenikov missing with a left hand there. Fors was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fors uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Byhenikov.
Fors clinches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A left hand lands to the body for Byhenikov.

Byhenikov is pushing Fors up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Fors will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Byhenikov up against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Byhenikov as Fors tries to tie him up.

Fors throws out a loose jab but Byhenikov uses good head movement to avoid it. Fors wants to clinch. Byhenikov lands with a shot to the body. Byhenikov takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Byhenikov checks a leg kick. Fors fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Byhenikov. Byhenikov misses with a wild body shot. Byhenikov works over Fors's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Alexander Fors has been cut. Fors throws a jab but it's blocked by Byhenikov.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Byhenikov tries to keep at a distance but Fors has taken the fight into the clinch. Fors misses with the head strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Byhenikov lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Byhenikov holding his opponent close, against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Byhenikov. Fors misses with a hook from the clinch. Byhenikov lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Nice body punch from Byhenikov - that landed with a thud.
Byhenikov will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Fors up against the cage. Fors throws a punch but it's blocked by Byhenikov. Fors blocking some punches.
Byhenikov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fors regains guard immediately. Byhenikov trying to control but Fors is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ruslan Mstislav Byhenikov will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Alexander Fors's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Fors has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Byhenikov finds it's way round the side to connect with Fors's head. Byhenikov thuds a left hand into Fors's body. Ruslan Mstislav Byhenikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fors throws a poor cross that misses
and Byhenikov counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Byhenikov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Fors! Byhenikov throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Fors has his hands clasped together but Byhenikov breaks the hold and Fors is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Byhenikov!
