Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Wiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Gaarlandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiz comes to the cage accompanied by SouthSide. Ricardo Gaarlandt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricardo Gaarlandt!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiz rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gaarlandt counters with a nice body shot.
Wiz misses with a left hand
and Gaarlandt counters with a good, hard body kick but Wiz shrugs it off.
Gaarlandt misses with a two punch combination.
Wiz doesn't manage to clinch there - Gaarlandt circles away.
Gaarlandt throws a series of punches but Wiz avoids them all with ease.
Gaarlandt moves out of range as Wiz strikes.
Wiz misses with a hook. Gaarlandt ducked under it nicely.
We've been told by Wiz's head coaches at HWP Forcefield that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Gaarlandt sizes up Wiz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gaarlandt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wiz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Wiz might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Gaarlandt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gaarlandt.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Big Wiz's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
