0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cain Fisher! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fisher rushes Thomas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fisher is trying to break the clinch but Thomas has him pressed against the cage. Fisher looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Thomas pulls guard. Fisher is looking to work some ground and pound but Thomas has wrist control. Fisher stays in close to Thomas's body and controls the position. Fisher must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fisher looking to sit in guard and control but Thomas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thomas with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Thomas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher tries to land a sweep but no joy. Thomas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Fisher wants to get back to his feet but Thomas passes into half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Fisher. No joy for Thomas on that attempt. Thomas stuffs the takedown attempt from Fisher. Fisher gets slowly back to his feet. Fisher doesn't succeed with the takedown and Thomas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Greg Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Fisher.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Thomas's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fisher looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Thomas puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Fisher kicks off Thomas and gets to his feet. Fisher looks winded! Fisher wants to slow Thomas down by chopping away at his legs. Fisher misses with the combination.
Fisher darts in looking for a takedown but Thomas gets double underhooks and turns Fisher into the cage. Thomas tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fisher just stands there and leans against the cage. Fisher is looking to control Thomas's arms but Thomas gets an underhook and turns him. Now Fisher has his back to the cage.

Thomas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Thomas lands in his opponent's guard. Thomas is looking to work some ground and pound but Fisher has wrist control. Thomas scoring with punches to the head and body. Thomas preventing the sweep. Thomas lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Thomas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fisher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Thomas shoots in for a double leg but Fisher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fisher will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Fisher is looking to advance position but Thomas has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Thomas with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Thomas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fisher can do to turn this around? Fisher is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Fisher is wriggling around trying to escape.

Thomas throwing strikes but Fisher recovers to half guard. A much better position. Fisher tries to roll over but Thomas keeps him under control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fisher has a hand on Thomas's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Thomas takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fisher is pulling down on Thomas's head to control his posture. Thomas chips away with some ground and pound. Fisher takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Thomas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. "Ole!" shouts Fisher as he jumps to the side. Fisher tries to bum rush Thomas with a series of wild strikes but Thomas uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Thomas shoots in but no luck this time. Fisher throws a right and a left that both miss. Fisher shoots in looking for a takedown. Thomas tries to sprawl out of it but Fisher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thomas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fisher circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Cain Fisher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Thomas has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
