Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hilmar Halldorsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven McKinney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hilmar Halldorsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steven McKinney! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from McKinney.
McKinney lands a right hook to the body.
Halldorsson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. McKinney should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Halldorsson slips a straight right by McKinney. McKinney rushes Halldorsson and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. McKinney tries to circle away but Halldorsson has him pinned against the ropes. A frustrated look appears on Halldorsson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Halldorsson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McKinney fights it off and pushes away nicely.
McKinney lands with a good body shot. McKinney displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Halldorsson throws out the jab. McKinney looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKinney drives through and clinches with Halldorsson against the ropes.
Halldorsson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Halldorsson is working for takedown but McKinney is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hilmar Halldorsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKinney tries to break free but Halldorsson pushes him back against the ropes. Halldorsson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite McKinney's efforts to push away. Halldorsson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McKinney gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - McKinney has eaten all the pies! Halldorsson has McKinney pressed against the ropes, preventing McKinney from circling away and getting back to striking at range. McKinney working hard to break the clinch. McKinney lands a right hand that snaps the head of Halldorsson backwards. Halldorsson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Halldorsson wants to lay and pray for a moment but McKinney keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McKinney is in trouble now - Halldorsson has advanced to mount! McKinney is squirming around, avoiding Halldorsson's attempts to control the action. Halldorsson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Halldorsson has isolated one of McKinney's arms. McKinney looking to fight him off but Halldorsson twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
