The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Topper Green and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highsmith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Highsmith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lister looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Highsmith is trying to get an arm triangle but Lister is defending well.
Highsmith tries for a kimura but Lister is defending well.
Highsmith is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lister knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Highsmith trying to control the action but Lister is working from the bottom.
Highsmith has hold of Lister's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lister seems comfortable defending it but Highsmith has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lister is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lister is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Highsmith couldn't care less - he's delighted!
