Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ricardo Mclean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Gunder!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunder is looking to chop away at Mclean's legs.
Gunder fails to land the takedown.
Mclean swings for the body but Gunder moves out of range.
Gunder dives in for a single leg takedown but Mclean sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gunder wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mclean keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gunder's efforts to push away.
Mclean keeps control of Gunder as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mclean fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gunder manages to avoid it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Gunder throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mclean's waist but Mclean gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gunder off to one side.
