Urrah has chosen Johnny Cash - Oney as his entrance music. Holden James could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Josef Urrah's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Holden James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josef Urrah!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James looks to land a right hand but Urrah moved out of range.
James avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
James scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Urrah closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into James's guard.

Urrah throws a strike but James rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Urrah bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in James's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Urrah drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but James manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Urrah has James in his guard.

Urrah has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but James has passed into side control.

James decides to take the fight back to the feet.
James looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from James. Urrah does a little dance to reset his feet.
Holden James is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Urrah throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Urrah goes for a double leg but James avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as James continues to drive forward.
Urrah is looking to take this one to the mat.
James lands a shoulder strike.
James wants to break free but Urrah has control.
James tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Urrah wants a takedown but no success here.
Holden James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josef Urrah.

Urrah has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. James avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

James pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
James looks to score with a jab to the body but Urrah is just out of range.
James takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
James stuffs the takedown attempt from Urrah. Urrah gets slowly back to his feet.
An inside leg kick from Urrah misses.
Urrah fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Urrah fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but James avoids it really well and circles away.
James throws a wild body kick that Urrah sees coming a mile off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Urrah shoots in looking for a takedown. James tries to sprawl out of it but Urrah keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. James manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
James scores with a punch to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

James throws an overhand right that lands on Urrah's shoulder, as Urrah tries to avoid the shot.
James misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Urrah.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from James.

James throws a body punch but Urrah moves out of range.

Holden James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Urrah fails with the takedown.

Urrah walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Urrah closes the distance and clinches up with James, looking for a takedown. Urrah pushes James against the ropes but James circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Urrah misses with a takedown attempt - James sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Urrah is breathing heavily.
A jab lands there for James.
James lands with a shot to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Urrah is defended easily by James.
James connects with a single shot there.
Urrah fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Urrah shoots in but James avoids the takedown attempt easily.
and James counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Urrah! He's just covering up as James starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Holden James!
Holden James tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
The defeated Josef Urrah had this to say: 'Man kan vara vinnare även om man förlorar.'.
