Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potterswheel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Landry's waist but Landry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Potterswheel off to one side.
Potterswheel fails with the takedown
and Landry counters with a three punch combo that has Potterswheel backing up. Potterswheel nods at Landry to acknowledge the strikes.

Landry gets caught napping as Potterswheel dives in and scores a takedown. Landry manages to retain guard.
Landry looking to hit a scissor sweep but Potterswheel is one step ahead there.
Landry is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Potterswheel wants to pass the guard but Landry is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Potterswheel throws a big right hand that misses.
Potterswheel with a flurry of punches that miss.
Potterswheel wants to control from the top but Landry keeps moving.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Potterswheel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Brutus Landry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Potterswheel misses with a takedown
and Landry counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Xavier Potterswheel. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Landry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Landry closes the distance and clinches.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Landry creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Landry breaks from the clinch.
Potterswheel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Landry tries to avoid it but Potterswheel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Landry to the ground. Landry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Landry.
Crunch! Landry slams his shin into Potterswheel's torso.
Landry tries to bum rush Potterswheel with a series of wild strikes but Potterswheel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Landry getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Potterswheel is rocked!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Landry! This one is all over!
