Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Obsut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manolo Fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: A Fifth Of Beethoven. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obsut misses with a leg kick
and Fu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Obsut thinking.
Fu moves out of range as Obsut strikes.
Fu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Obsut can pounce on him.
Obsut moves into the clinch successfully.
Fu prevents the takedown attempt.
Obsut is working for takedown but Fu is calmly controlling the position for now.
We've been hearing reports that Obsut has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Obsut has Fu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Obsut has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fu is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Obsut.

Fu is looking to take a break and control but Obsut is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Obsut darts in looking for a takedown but Fu gets double underhooks and turns Obsut into the cage.
Obsut tightens his grip and picks Fu up, before dumping him to the ground. Fu manages to land in guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Obsut - the referee stops the clock and Fu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Obsut. Fu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Obsut sizes up Fu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Fu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Obsut throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fedor Obsut is winning the standup battle so far.
Fu moves out of range as Obsut throws a body kick.
Obsut loads up on a big right hand but Fu slips the punch.
Obsut chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fu gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A slow jab from Obsut misses its intended target.
Obsut does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Fu smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Obsut stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Fu tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fu throws a solid leg kick but Obsut takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Fu.

Fu swings for the body but Obsut moves out of range.

Fu throws a head kick that misses.
Obsut throws a low kick but it's checked well by Fu.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fu checks a leg kick.
Obsut changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fu tries to avoid it but Obsut manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fu to the ground. Fu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Obsut slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Obsut throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fu was covering up waiting for the punch and Obsut finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fu looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Fu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Obsut is controlling him.
Obsut tries to free his leg and advance position but Fu is retaining full guard.
Obsut throws a big elbow that misses.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Fu is pulling down on Obsut's head to control his posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Obsut fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fedor Obsut.
Well Obsut has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fedor Obsut really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GREEN!160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
