Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nate Crook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Brown!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown avoids the body shot from Crook.
Nate Crook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crook loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch.
Brown looks for a takedown but Crook sprawls well.
Crunch! Brown slams his shin into Crook's torso.
Crook looks to throw the jab but Brown is out of range.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crook as he jumps to the side.
Crook loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brown.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but Crook shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nate Crook has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Brown.
Crook throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.
Nice body kick from Brown.
Brown shoots in and drives through. Crook sprawls well.
Brown lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Crook throws a looping overhand right but Brown ducks down to avoid it.

Crook is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Brown's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Brown keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nate Crook is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Brown counters with a two punch combo.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crook throws out the jab.

Brown shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Crook kicks off Brown and gets to his feet.
Brown scores with a kick to the midsection.
Brown dives in for a single leg takedown but Crook sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Brown is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crook as he jumps to the side.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Crook.
Crook misses with a straight right.
Crook misses with a looping left.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crook connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brown. Brown circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Crook rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into side control. Crook won't be happy with that.
The strikes coming from Brown are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Brown working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Brown is trying to get an arm triangle but Crook is defending well.

Brown working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Brown wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Crook, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown tries to score with some ground and pound. Crook controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Crook is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Brown is looking to take a break and control but Crook is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Crook's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The ground and pound from Brown seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Crook is not content to let Brown control the position.
Brown prevents Crook from escaping the position.
Brown landing strikes.
Crook wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Sloppy strikes there by Brown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brown dives in for a single leg takedown but Crook sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Brown jumps guard but Crook stands there with Brown around his waist. Brown gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Brown tries to score a body lock takedown but Crook shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Brown has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Crook after a bit of a struggle.
Crook lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Brown tries for a takedown. No joy.
Crook stops a takedown attempt from Brown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown has Crook pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Crook manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
A frustrated look appears on Crook's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Crook lands a body shot in the clinch.
Brown is breathing heavily.

Crook breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crook throws out the jab.

A slow jab from Crook misses its intended target.

Crook cracks Brown with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Brown looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Crook finish him?


Brown is rocked!
Crook darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Brown's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Crook before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nate Crook!
