Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cobalt Khalil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Kalnoky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalil comes to the ring accompanied by The Hives - Walk Idiot Walk. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cobalt Khalil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tomas Kalnoky! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Khalil scores with a four punch combination! Khalil misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kalnoky doesn't manage to clinch there - Khalil circles away.
Khalil throws a combination that misses and Kalnoky counters with a nice double leg into side control. Khalil won't be happy with that. Kalnoky throws an elbow but Khalil slips to the side and avoids it well. Kalnoky working the body and head with strikes. Khalil avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kalnoky. Kalnoky in side control, throwing shots but Khalil defends. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kalnoky is trying to get an arm triangle but Khalil is defending well. Kalnoky working the ground and pound but Khalil is defending the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ground and pound from Kalnoky seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Kalnoky trying to control the position but Khalil is working away. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kalnoky postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Khalil is trying to buck Kalnoky off. Kalnoky lands a decent elbow from side control. Kalnoky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kalnoky throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Kalnoky looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Khalil is avoiding damage well.
Khalil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kalnoky on the ground. Khalil dodges the ground and pound from Kalnoky.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Khalil is pushing Kalnoky's head away, looking to escape. Kalnoky manages to hold on to the position though. Kalnoky misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kalnoky looks up at the clock and then as Khalil takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kalnoky smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kalnoky working the ground and pound. Khalil is trying to control Kalnoky's posture but Kalnoky avoids it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Kalnoky misses with the ground and pound. Kalnoky creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Kalnoky is working to tighten his grip on Khalil's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Khalil has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kalnoky is really squeezing tight and eventually Khalil passes out! Kalnoky breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
