The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Schell. Those never looked like landing.
Schell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Grabowski is looking to escape.
Schell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Grabowski's head.
Schell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Schell tries to stand and escape but Grabowski is controlling the position.
Schell throws a strike but Grabowski avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Schell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Schell tries to free his leg and advance position but Grabowski is retaining full guard.
Grabowski pushes Schell off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Schell has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Grabowski is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Grabowski tries to move into range but Schell moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Grabowski could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Grabowski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Schell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Schell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grabowski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Grabowski is defended easily by Schell.
Schell looks for the body kick but Grabowski saw that one coming.
Grabowski fails with a takedown attempt.
Grabowski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A clash of legs there as Grabowski blocks the low kick.
Schell misses with a series of wild punches.
Grabowski wants to clinch up but Schell keeps it at a distance.
Grabowski uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Schell.
Grabowski dives in and scores a takedown into Schell's guard.
Grabowski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Schell can do anything to dispel that myth.

Grabowski's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Grabowski throws a right hand that Schell ducks under and follows up with a left that Schell also avoids with ease.
Donk. Schell catches Grabowski right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Damian Grabowski has been cut.
Grabowski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Schell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Schell lands a nice hook to Grabowski's body. Grabowski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Grabowski misses with a takedown
and Schell counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Grabowski has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
