4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Cain! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Grey looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Cain misses with an uppercut. Grey saw that one coming. Grey connects with a leg kick. Cain looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Cain misses with a body shot.
Cain misses with a hook. Grey ducked under it nicely. Grey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cain looks to land a left hand but Grey moved out of range nicely. Grey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The fighters circling - Cain throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cain avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Cain throws a jab when Grey was well out of range. Nice defenses there by Grey. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cain misses with a wild body shot. Cain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grey. Cain scores with a sloppy right hand. Grey should have avoided that one. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Grey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cain paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Grey. Cain avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Cain throws a series of punches but Grey avoids them all with ease. Cain looks to score with a jab to the body but Grey is just out of range. Jim Cain seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Grey looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
