Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raditos Putranho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Bellamy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putranho comes to the cage accompanied by Forever Young. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bellamy's choice of entrance music: The Rapture - Echoes. Simon Bellamy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Raditos Putranho's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Raditos Putranho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Simon Bellamy! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellamy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Putranho sprawls well. Putranho wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bellamy gets slowly back to his feet. Putranho tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bellamy swivels and escapes. Bellamy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Putranho circles away. Putranho looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bellamy is fending him off so far but Putranho persists. Nope, Bellamy circles away and we're back to standing. Putranho shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raditos Putranho. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bellamy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Putranho defends well and Bellamy ends up having to push Putranho into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Putranho works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Putranho trying to control but Bellamy is working from the bottom. Putranho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bellamy swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bellamy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Putranho trying to control the position from guard on top but Bellamy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Putranho is really struggling to control Bellamy but he's trying to hold on to the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Putranho sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Putranho goes for a double leg but Bellamy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bellamy continues to drive forward. Putranho wants to take the fight to the mat but Bellamy manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bellamy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Putranho looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Bellamy looking for a takedown. Putranho is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bellamy can't fight it off and eventually Putranho manages to take the fight to the floor. Bellamy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Putranho trying to control but Bellamy is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Putranho stopping the sweep attempt from Bellamy. Putranho drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bellamy dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Putranho keeping moving, preventing Bellamy from controlling successfully. Bellamy looking to pass the guard. Bellamy advances to half guard. Putranho has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bellamy is working away from the top position though. We've been informed that Bellamy has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Putranho is defending against the submission attempts here by Bellamy.
Bellamy is trying to work for a kimura but Putranho is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bellamy is looking for a kimura here.
Bellamy trying to mount his opponent but Putranho defends it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bellamy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Putranho sees it coming and defends easily. Putranho has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bellamy is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Simon Bellamy will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bellamy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Putranho quickly recovers to half guard. Putranho wants to control but Bellamy is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bellamy trying to mount his opponent but Putranho defends it. Putranho is in trouble now - Bellamy has advanced to mount! Bellamy throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Bellamy is stalling here but it's allowed Putranho to get half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bellamy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Putranho keeps working. Putranho trying to control from the bottom.
Bellamy has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Putranho is controlling an arm, preventing Bellamy from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Putranho is looking to improve his position but Bellamy isn't that keen on the idea. Bellamy wants to control the pace but Putranho is squirming around nicely. Bellamy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bellamy working for a guillotine from mount but Putranho is in no mood to give up. Bellamy avoids the attempt from Putranho to control. Putranho really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Putranho is squirming around, avoiding Bellamy's attempts to control the action. Bellamy unloads with some shots from mount but Putranho bucks and avoids them well.
Putranho is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Putranho holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bellamy tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Putranho has given up his back. Will we see Bellamy going for some submissions?
Putranho is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bellamy gets his way!
Bellamy has the hooks in. Putranho is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Well, with Bellamy on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Putranho is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Bellamy is looking to control Putranho but Putranho is wriggling around and keeping busy. Bellamy is working for a rear naked choke. Putranho is not defending it well and Bellamy has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Putranho refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Putranho's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Simon Bellamy! A relieved looking Simon Bellamy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
