Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Didi Arcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Myler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Arcus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 50 CENT. Shane Myler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myler connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Arcus looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Arcus scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Myler felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Myler tries to get to full guard but Arcus has control of the leg.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Myler is trying to escape the mount.
Myler keeps trying to improve his position.
Myler sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Arcus seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Myler wants to control but Arcus is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Myler is pressing down on Arcus's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Arcus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Myler swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Myler is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Arcus defends well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Myler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Arcus defends it easily.
Myler is trying to control the position but Arcus postures up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A solid body kick from Myler.

Arcus takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Arcus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Myler.
A slapping leg kick lands for Myler.
Myler feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Arcus's calf.
Good leg kick by Myler there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Shane Myler will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Myler lands with a kick to the temple. Arcus shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Myler lands a big head kick that sends Arcus tumbling to the mat! Myler takes a step backwards and waves Arcus back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Arcus is rocked!

It looks like Didi Arcus has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Myler as Arcus shoots in.
Oh Arcus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arcus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Myler looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Myler connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Myler fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Arcus.
Arcus wants to stay close but Myler steps back to make room for something. Arcus seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Myler and Arcus drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
