Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Markus Aurelio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conan Barbarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aurelio comes into the arena with It's a Fight blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Aurelio, as that shot connected.
Barbarian looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Barbarian trying to control the position from guard on top but Aurelio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Aurelio is trying to control the position but Barbarian postures up.
Barbarian wants to control from the top but Aurelio keeps moving.

Barbarian thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Barbarian wants to pass the guard but Aurelio is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aurelio is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Barbarian looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Aurelio is fending him off so far but Barbarian persists. Nope, Aurelio circles away and we're back to standing.
Barbarian slips a jab from Aurelio.

Aurelio throws a shot from downtown. Barbarian moves away and avoids it.
Barbarian ducks under a wild hook from Aurelio.
Aurelio throws an overhand right that lands on Barbarian's shoulder, as Barbarian tries to avoid the shot.
A big right from Aurelio misses.
Aurelio missing with a left hand there. Barbarian was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Barbarian fails with a takedown attempt.
Barbarian shoots in but Aurelio avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Markus Aurelio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conan Barbarian.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Barbarian uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Aurelio.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Conan Barbarian will probably get the nod.
That's time! Aurelio's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Aurelio stuffs the takedown.
Aurelio swats away the attempt to clinch by Barbarian.
Barbarian tries for a takedown but Aurelio sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aurelio throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Barbarian throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aurelio's waist but Aurelio gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barbarian off to one side.
Markus Aurelio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conan Barbarian.

Aurelio throws a hook to the side of Barbarian's head but Barbarian sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Markus Aurelio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fighters circling - Aurelio throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Barbarian shoots for a takedown but Aurelio saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice defenses there by Barbarian.
Barbarian shoots for a double leg takedown but Aurelio sprawls well. He's pushed Barbarian's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Barbarian shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Aurelio as he avoids it easily.
Barbarian moves out of range as Aurelio strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Barbarian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aurelio but Aurelio pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Barbarian fails in his attempt to clinch.

Aurelio keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
