And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brock Lesnar !
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anstey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lesnar sprawls well initially but Anstey persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lesnar wants to get back to his feet.
Anstey uses his free foot to push down on Lesnar 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lesnar .
Anstey trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Anstey won't let Lesnar get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anstey sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Anstey lands a heavy elbow.

Anstey takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Anstey throwing strikes here but Lesnar is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
A nice elbow there by Anstey.
Anstey fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Lesnar is bucking up trying to escape but Anstey cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Anstey breaks from Lesnar 's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lesnar is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Anstey lands a heavy elbow.
Lesnar is squirming around, avoiding Anstey's attempts to control the action.
Lesnar takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Anstey's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bunny Anstey!

Bunny Anstey decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
