Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Riley Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Yastrzemski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carl Yastrzemski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Riley Glover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carl Yastrzemski!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yastrzemski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Yastrzemski has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Glover wants to control but Yastrzemski is having none of it.
Glover is squirming around, avoiding Yastrzemski's attempts to control the action.
Glover wants to hold on but Yastrzemski pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yastrzemski is working for a guillotine from mount but Glover frees his head quite easily.

Carl Yastrzemski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Glover has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Yastrzemski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Glover is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Glover is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yastrzemski defends well.

Glover has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yastrzemski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Glover pulls Yastrzemski in close to his closed guard and prevents Yastrzemski from doing any damage or advancing position.
More hug and hope from Glover.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Riley Glover.
I think Yastrzemski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
