Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brad Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Hiczkok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Hiczkok is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brad Dillinger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Hiczkok! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dillinger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dillinger fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dillinger clinches. Dillinger taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Hiczkok drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dillinger pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hiczkok looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dillinger is fending him off so far but Hiczkok persists. Nope, Dillinger circles away and we're back to standing. Hiczkok shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dillinger pinned against the cage. Dillinger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Brad Dillinger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Hiczkok. Dillinger lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hiczkok takes a step back to recover. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hiczkok swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dillinger instigates a clinch. Hiczkok is looking for a takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dillinger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dillinger tries to clinch up but Hiczkok circles away and keeps his distance. Hiczkok stuffs the takedown. Hiczkok tries to clinch there but Dillinger circles away.
Dillinger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dillinger closes the distance and pushes Hiczkok back into the cage. Hiczkok changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dillinger fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dillinger dives in for a single leg takedown but Hiczkok sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hiczkok has Dillinger pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dillinger manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Stalling in the clinch from Dillinger.
Hiczkok works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillinger working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hiczkok. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hiczkok accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dillinger is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dillinger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hiczkok stuffs the takedown attempt from Dillinger. Dillinger gets slowly back to his feet. Hiczkok showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dillinger.
Hiczkok takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hiczkok looks to score with a jab to the body but Dillinger is just out of range. Hiczkok tries to clinch and Dillinger counters with a big head kick but Hiczkok shrugs it off. Hiczkok fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hiczkok closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dillinger circles away. Dillinger looking to score a takedown here. Hiczkok is defending well but Dillinger drives through and ends up in Hiczkok's guard. Dillinger gets to his feet - Hiczkok follows without any prompting. Dillinger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hiczkok. Hiczkok looks winded! Dillinger fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hiczkok. Dillinger pushes Hiczkok up against the cage in a clinch. I was talking to Dillinger's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Hiczkok prevents a body shot from Dillinger. Dillinger pulls guard effortlessly. Dillinger is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hiczkok frees his head nicely. Oh but Dillinger has switched to an armbar! Hiczkok is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
