Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uali Kurzhez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murilo Brito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brito has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Murilo Brito looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Uali Kurzhez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Murilo Brito! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brito gets tackled into the cage by Kurzhez. Kurzhez maintains the clinch. Kurzhez misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kurzhez softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Kurzhez is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Brito is defending well for now. Brito prevents a body shot from Kurzhez. Kurzhez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kurzhez ducks under a wild hook from Brito. Brito misses with the combination.
Kurzhez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Kurzhez throws a right hand that Brito ducks under and follows up with a left that Brito also avoids with ease. We've been informed that Brito has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Kurzhez moves into the clinch. Kurzhez misses with a body punch.
Kurzhez struggles to land a body shot inside as Brito controls his hands.
Kurzhez wants to take the fight to the mat but Brito manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kurzhez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A punch combination from Kurzhez misses. Kurzhez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brito.
This has been an exciting period of action! Brito throws a right hand that Kurzhez ducks under and follows up with a left that Kurzhez also avoids with ease. Brito looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurzhez lands a two punch combo.
Brito throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kurzhez staying out of range there. Kurzhez slips under a jab. Brito throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kurzhez. Brito throws a nice looking combination but Kurzhez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kurzhez drives through and clinches with Brito against the cage.
Kurzhez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Some wild striking there from Brito.
Kurzhez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brito tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kurzhez is in Brito's guard. Brito escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kurzhez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kurzhez looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurzhez slips nicely into half guard. Kurzhez wants to pass to mount but Brito is defending the position. Kurzhez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brito on the ground. Brito actively working from the bottom here. Brito is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kurzhez pulls his head out easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurzhez is taking a breather. Brito says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kurzhez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brito looking for a kimura from the bottom but Kurzhez passes into side control! Kurzhez stands up and we're back to a striking position. Kurzhez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brito's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurzhez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kurzhez wants to pass the guard but Brito is keeping the position. Kurzhez controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Brito had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kurzhez defends it easily. Kurzhez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uali Kurzhez dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Brito throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sloppy strikes from Brito. Those never looked like landing. Brito throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kurzhez. Brito missing with a left hand there. Kurzhez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Brito fails to land with a series of punches.
Brito takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kurzhez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brito moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kurzhez looks to land a combination but Brito avoids it well. Brito throws an off balance right hand
and Kurzhez counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Brito! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kurzhez escapes and gets back to his feet. Kurzhez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. It's a brutal combination of punches from Kurzhez! Brito is backing up but he can't get away as Kurzhez lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Brito and ends the fight. Great knockout.
